Founded in 1995/96 as a strong pillar of the unique entrepreneurial Innsbruck University concept, Management Center Innsbruck now occupies a prominent position in the international university scene. In the meantime 3,000 students, 800 faculty members, 200 partner universities worldwide and numerous graduates and employers appreciate the qualities of the Entrepreneurial School®.

MCI is located in the center of Innsbruck offering 5 different campuses. At its locations, MCI offers an outstanding infrastructure with attractive and well equipped lecture halls, computer labs and group working rooms, with state-of-the-art workstations and research facilities, student hostels in the vicinity, a wide choice of good places for eating out, convenient parking and excellent public transport. The International Health & Social Management team is responsible for the European Master in Health Economics and Management at MCI, and is located at the campus MCI I&II, Universitaetsstrasse 15. This team focuses on the European Union and raises important policy issues, such as:

  • quality and access in cross-border health care services
  • information requirements for citizens, patients, health professionals and policy-makers
  • the scope for cooperation in the health and social arena
  • how to reconcile national policies with European obligations in general
